- Sopherlo is in beta. It's free, and it will keep changing.
- A parent or guardian sets up and is responsible for a student's account.
- Use it to learn, fairly and kindly.
- We can't promise particular grades or exam results.
2. Agreeing to these terms
By using sopherlo.com or the Sopherlo app, you agree to these terms. If you are a parent or guardian, you agree on behalf of your child too.
3. The beta
Sopherlo is currently in beta. The beta is free. Features may change, pause or be removed, and slots are limited. We'll tell you before the beta ends and what happens next.
4. Accounts
- A parent or guardian must create or approve each student account.
- Keep your login details private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us straight away at hello@sopherlo.com if you think someone else is using it.
5. Using Sopherlo fairly
Please don't misuse Sopherlo: no attempts to break or overload it, copy its lessons in bulk, access other people's accounts, or use it to harm anyone.
6. Our content
Lessons, questions, designs and the Sopherlo name and logo belong to Sopherlo. You may use them for your own family's learning, but not copy or sell them.
7. No guarantees about results
We work hard to help students learn, but we can't promise any particular grade, exam result or admission outcome. Sopherlo supports, and does not replace, teachers and schools.
8. Availability
Lessons keep working when the network drops, and progress saves once you're back online. Some features need a connection. We aim to keep Sopherlo available, but it may sometimes be down for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Sopherlo is not liable for indirect losses from using the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Nigerian law.
10. Ending your account
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
